河北高碑店经济开发区是1992年经河北省人民政府批准设立的省级经济开发区，被河北省确定为重点发展的12个开发区之一。开发区规划面积14.12平方公里，经过多年发展初步形成了新型节能建材、新能源、汽车制造、机械设备制造、食品饮品加工为主的支柱产业。

依托河北奥润顺达窗业有限公司在生产规模、技术研发、品牌建设、产业集群等方面的龙头优势，以节能门窗工业园、中国国际门窗城、中国门窗博物馆等项目为主要抓手，以节能门窗产品为核心，推进新型节能建材产业的加速壮大。吸引世界高端的门窗设备制造企业入驻，打造集产品研发、生产制造、物流仓储、展示交流、商贸服务为一体的现代化节能门窗产业基地。目前初步形成了以中国国际门窗展览交易城为核心，以国际门窗科技大厦、节能门窗工业园、国家门窗幕墙检测中心、保税仓储物流中心、门窗专业本科学院、门窗博物馆六大功能区为配套的门窗幕墙产业集群。

保税仓储物流中心为京南保北最大的公用型保税仓储物流区，面向京津冀进出口企业，并协助办理通关手续、货物运输、减少中间环节、缩短商品流转时间，降低成本，极大方便国内外入驻企业办理进出口业务。

The Gaobeidian EDZ is provincial economic development district approved by People’s Government of Hebei Province in 1992, and defined as one of the 12 most important provincial economic development zones. The EDZ is covered 14.12 square kilometers. Relying on the production scale, technology, brand building, industrial cluster, leading edge of Hebei Aorun Shunda Windows Company Limited, with energy- saving windows and doors industrial park, China International windows and doors city, Chinese windows and doors museum, the EDZ promote the new energy saving building materials industry expand quickly to attract the world high-end doors and windows equipment manufacturing enterprises. At present the China International Trade and Exhibition City of windows and doors was initially established as the core, extended to the international doors and windows science and technology building, energy-saving doors and windows and doors industrial park, national fenestration testing center, bonded warehousing and logistics center, doors and windows College and Museum etc six functional areas for supporting the door and window curtain wall industry cluster.

EDZ Bonded warehousing logistics center is the largest public bonded warehousing logistics zone within the region of southern Beijing and Northern Baoding, and assists the import and export enterprises in Beijing- Tianjin- Hebei region in customs clearance, cargo transportation, reduce intermediate links. This will shorten the time of commodity circulation, reduce the cost, be convenient for domestic and foreign enterprises for the import and export business.
